However, it's important to note MEDADOM's limitations. Our service is not designed for children under 3 years old due to their specific medical needs, nor is it an emergency service. For critical or life-threatening situations, please proceed to the nearest emergency room or call emergency services immediately. 🚨
How does it work? It's simple! Log in to your secure patient portal via your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Provide your medical information (or that of a loved one) and your Vitale card details. Then, simply initiate the teleconsultation. A qualified doctor will then connect with you for a remote consultation, offering a diagnosis and guidance on managing your health concerns or recommending specialist referrals if necessary. All your consultation records will be securely stored in your personal space. 📂
Regarding payment and reimbursement, we operate on Sector 1 rates, with potential increases during evenings, weekends, and public holidays. We utilize a third-party payment system, meaning your teleconsultation is covered by social security just like an in-person visit. Your mutual insurance will then reimburse the remaining cost. 💸
Our doctors are highly qualified professionals associated with our partner health centers. They are registered with the Council of the Order of Physicians and are experienced in both in-person and teleconsultation practices.
